Several studies which aimed at investigating factors that lead to turnover emphasized the relevance of approaching within the frame of turnover investigations both organizational characteristics (structure, climate, policies) and human resources variables (skills, abilities, knowledge, motivators). The aim of this case study is to identify the level of turnover within a Romanian Automotive organization and to investigate those turnover variables that on long term increase the risks for turnover, based on the meta-analytic studies and theoretical models in the Industrial and Organizational psychology literature. Several strategies for reducing and monitoring turnover personnel within the studied organization are discussed.
