More and more the 3rd millenium economies are becoming economies based on knowledge rather than on phisical resources. The complexity of organizational environment seems to be in a continuous growth, as well, and the competition between actors is tougher and tougher. Because of this, organizations are being interested in the use of knowledge as organizational resource and recognize the importance of a strategic information management in order to ensure the needed competitive advantage.
The knowledge management strategies and systems facilitate the creation, sharing and transfer of knowledge, which are basic processes of operating with knowledge. The present paper is about designing and implementing a support system for storing, organizing and reusing knowledge resulted from joined experiences. The designing of this system is based on Case Based Reasoning Paradigm.
